I think Loretta Swit is channeling some of the anger from her character from MASH in this commercial for the Burger King Whopper. They lay the knee-jerk anger thing on a little thick in order to make her transformation into a happy new Whopper eater more believable and I just don’t like it. It seems sort of phony and cheap.
That Whopper in this commercial is so huge that it doesn’t even fit on the bun. Does anyone know if that ever really happened? I like a good bun to patty ratio so I am not sure I would have enjoyed the over-sized patty concept, but I like it as a marketing angle.
Our burgers are so big, not even the buns can hold them!
