I never saw an Exxon station with a TFCB sign, but I love the idea of forcing a new acronym on an unsuspecting population. Can you imagine being the owner of an Exxon station and reading about this new signage and how it was going to change the way your customers felt about your station? I imagine many an eye was rolled on signage delivery day back in 1977.
While TFCB has not stuck with us, this commercial is a great relic from the attempt. The animation and color choices are really great.
