This award-winning commercial from 1986 ran solely in the Pacific Northwest and featured a Jack Webb sound-alike doing a pretty decent Joe Friday. The premise of the ad is that this woman has been wronged by appliances that have been “stealing” electricity and she needs to pick them out of a lineup. Some great 80s appliance colors are featured and a lesson about choosing more efficient appliances is learned. All in all, a pretty fun little bit of advertising.
