In the mid-1980s, McDonald’s offered these convenient “Value Packs”. They were basically what I guess they would call Value Meals nowadays, but with added bonus of a cool cardboard container for your Nuggets, Fries and Drinks. While not exactly revolutionary, I found it to be much more interesting than it was and in retrospect I am puzzled as to why. Maybe just the convenient form factor?
Who knows, but while refreshing my memory about the Value Packs, I found this commercial from around 1985, that I think has a young Tia Carrere in it.
