Retro Records: G.I. Joe – The Secret of the Mummy’s Tomb (1966)

GI Joe - The Secret of the Mummys Tomb
Welcome back to another installment of Retro Records! With it being October it seemed the perfect time to share some classic records with a Halloween flavor and in this case we present the 1966 Peter Pan Records ‘G.I. Joe and the Secret of the Mummy’s Tomb’!

When the one and only G.I. Joe is called in to investigate a missing Mummy known as Amtoltec, he finds that he only has a limited time to get down to the mystery of it’s theft as a giant earthquake is set to strike Egypt.

Can Joe find out who stole the Mummy? Will he be able to survive the dangerous booby traps of an Egyptian Pyramid? Can he escape the deadly earthquake?

You’ll just have to take a few minutes out of your busy morning and find out for yourself!

  1. Atari Adventure Square says:

I had this GI Joe adventure kit, watched the TV commercial for it a million wonderful times on a few thousand Saturday mornings and lived through many incarnations of its perils and outcomes with the set and my Joes.

(Spoiler – the Joes always came out strong)

Now I get to hear one of the outcomes on a Peter Pan record set!

    Thanks Vic!
