What were the hot video tapes in 1980?

I found this ad for video rentals the other day. It is from late 1980 and while I also enjoy the aesthetics of the ad, with the tape and TV icons coming together, I find the information part of the ad even more appealing. It gives a you a little peek into what was popular on the sort of still new video cassette technology and more importantly what the owner of a store thought would capture the eye of the consumer. So what was big in 1980?

How about Chinatown, The Godfather, Barbarella, The Ten Commandments, The Life Of Brian and Alien.

I love how they turned Barbarella on its side so they could wedge it in. And how they use what appears to be an audio cassette to illustrate video rentals.
