Diggin’ In The Carts: The Rise Of Video Game Music

Yesterday a good friend of mine was kind enough to give me the heads up on this new documentary series presented by the Red Bull Music Academy entitled “Diggin’ In the Carts” which will focus on the game music creators of Japan that have and continue to inspire us with their work.

The series will be presented in 6 parts, each segment being released on Thursday for the next five weeks, the first part debuted last week. Besides some great retro video game music you’ll also get a look back at the early days of gaming as well as being introduced to new composers that were affected by that very iconic music.

Check out J-Rocc’s collection of vinyl by the way…I mean…pause and just gaze in awe at how massive his collection is.
