Leonard Nimoy enjoying some Computer Gaming in the 1980s

I like this shot of Nimoy, smiling with joystick in hand, gaming on a Commodore back in 1985. One thing about this photo that I have not been able to figure out is, what game he is playing? Anyone have a guess?

  1. javakiko says:

I’m guessing, as he’s looking at the partially visible screen on his left, that he’s playing manic Miner on a C64.

  2. It is “Project: Space Station” by HESWARE.
The photo is taken at an event at New York’s floating Intrepid Museum in 1984. HesWare hired Leonard Nimoy to be their corporate spokesman (source: Popular Mechanics Issue September 1984, page 24).
