Now THAT’S what I call retro: Town Hall, Forestburgh, NY

On my way home from the boxing gym, I pass by this old building and every time I do, I tell myself I’m going to stop and see what it is all about. Two months later, I finally stop. It turns out to be a defunct town hall for the town of Forestburgh, New York. It was built in 1929. The door is locked so I couldn’t go in, but I tried my best to get some photos through the windows. There was a lot of glare.

  1. Wow, the building is in impressive shape. Me and the family were just up your way last weekend for some R&R in Ellenville. To think, we could’ve had a mini Retroist convention there!
