I am not sure why I find these type of character that combine plastic or wood looking components with real people unnerving, but I do. The first time I saw that new Burger King, I think I had problems sleeping for a week. Although maybe that is because the commercial had him laying in bed next to someone when they woke up?
Before BK did any of that, Duracell has these battery-powered people commercials that, while memorable, were also very unnerving.
