Okay maybe not a hernia since the Transtar 120 was only 19 pounds, but I think weight AND bulkiness should be considered when defining something as a portable. By the definition of this ad, my current microwave, which is pretty light, is portable. But I don’t see myself popping it into my bag and toting it around for when I might need a hot pocket on the go.
I really like things from the past, but it is kind of nice that portable nowadays really means portable. Maybe we are finally living in the “future”?
