Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a LucasArts point and click adventure game

Buffy Point and Click

Everyone give a round of applause to writer and illustrator Andrew Scalfe who had the idea to turn one of my favourite ever TV shows into one of my favourite ever computer games – Buffy the Vampire Slayer drawn in the style of The Secret of Monkey Island!

Andrew writes on his blog how he felt the stories of Buffy are so suited to the point-and-click adventure genre thanks to the many objects and puzzles to solve. He has created one scene from each of the seven seasons of the show to illustrate – I’ve included season 1’s “Welcome to Hellmouth” and Dark Willow finale episode “Grave” from season 6 – be sure to check his blog for the rest.

Dark Willow Point and Click

Really wanting to go have a Buffy marathon now whilst simultaneously playing the LucasArts classics…
