The 1970s were a golden age for spokescharacters selling food to kids and adults, but it was also a more sophisticated time. A time when the subdued and measured tone of Dick Cavett was what you used to sell Kellogg’s Cereal. Sure as you get older your cereal preferences might change, but it is nice to know that whichever cereal I choose, be it one with raisins or a tiger, it is all a personal and reasonable choice. Thanks Dick!
