In 1974 with the US rightfully experiencing what could only be described as “Planet of the Apes Fever” with the movie marathons and TV show bringing in big bucks, not to mention the popularity of the Ape MEGO figures with kids, it stands to reason that the Pressman Toy Corporation wanted to offer products as well.
Though a ring toss game strikes me as odd.
