Werner Herzog’s “Nosferatu the Vampyre” Makes its Blu-ray Debut May 20th, 2014!

Scream Factory
Our friends over at Scream Factory certainly show no signs of slowing down with their releases of sometimes hard to find horror titles or in the case of Nosferau the Vampyre, critically acclaimed feature films. Originally released in 1979, it was filmed in West Germany by the legendary Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man) and stars the equally legendary Klaus Kinski (For a Few Dollars More, Crawlspace) as Count Dracula, while as always you can expect Scream Factory to deliver the extras they have included commentary by Herzog himself on this release!

The Blu-Ray will be released on May 20th, 2014 but you can Pre-Order it Now. Other extras on the disc include:
Both English and German versions of the film
Audio Commentary with writer/producer/director Werner Herzog
Audio Commentary with Werner Herzog, moderated by Laurens Straub (In German with English Subtitles)
Vintage Featurette – The Making of Nosferatu
Theatrical Trailers
Reversible wrap (with the “white” theatrical poster design)
