Many things are required to make up the defining aspects of our favorite heroes of television and motion pictures…and one of those things also happens to be their mode of transport. Thanks to very talented Nicolas Bannister’s Tumblr we can get look at posters that shine the spotlight on some of those vehicles like the Ecto-1 you see above.

  1. Spotted Feather says:

Cool idea, but every picture is basically the same. I really wish that we could see the cars from a different angle….

  2. Surely that’s the point of the series Spotted Feather? Personally, I’m a big fan of any art series that keeps focus on the same thing across a range, and homing in the vehicles is a nice choice :)

  3. The Ghostbusters poster intrigues me the most. That could easily represent the 3rd film, not just the first.

As I see it, the car is the symbol of safety, but they have to leave it to enter what appears to be the unknown. Perhaps something they may never come back from for the sake of humanity.

  4. The world always needs more Ghostbusters artwork in it, Justin! I definitely think that is the point of the series as Hayden was kind enough to point out, when you step back and look at all of the posters he has done you get the bigger picture. :)
