Say “Cheese” at Pizza Hut in 1981

Going to get pizza has always been a magical experience for me, one worthy of a photo session. So it was no surprise to me that Pizza Hut would be selling Instant Cameras at a discount to its customers. What does surprise me is that the cameras did not come with film. This seems like a real missed opportunity to allow customers to take photos as soon as they get their camera. Think of all those amazing retro photos of 1980s pizza huts that we do not get to see today because of this oversight.

A lot of great shots of the restaurant and 80s pizza hut uniforms in this commercial, but the real winner is the young girl and her hat. I always wanted a hat like that when I was a kid.
