Fiendish Friends for Hours of Fun

I was staring at this page in from the JC Penney catalog this morning and remembering wanting just about everything on it for years. I recall one year putting Godzilla squarely at the top of my list of toys I wished I had. He never showed up, for Christmas or my birthday that year, and when I went to visit my cousin soon after (his birthday is near mine), he had ALL of these. I was seething with jealousy, but also extremely happy to be able to play with them. To my cousin’s credit, he was not stingy with his toys and while I was there he indulged my Godzilla addiction. Many a Star Wars figure fell with a mighty swoop of the tail from the King of Monsters that day I tell you.

It’s fun to look at pages from the old Christmas catalogs. I had a Suckerman and a Frankenstein doll.
