Introducing the Amazing Laser Beam Watch

For those of you who were foolish enough to not heed this commercials sales pitch and put off investing in this magical watch in the early 1990s, you should be kicking yourself. I picked up 4 of these high-tech pieces of art back in 1991 and I have been living off the proceeds of the Sotheby’s auction where I sold them in 1998 ever since.

The takeaway? When a commercial tells you it is time to invest in a time piece that uses the word laser to describe itself and yet has no discernible connection to lasers…you do it!

Heh! You’re not kidding? You made a big score selling THESE…at…SOTHEBY’S?! Wow! Congratulations!

  2. I remember the first time I saw that commercial. I came to the conclusion that America’s average IQ will begin to drop inversely proportional to the number of people who buy that watch.
