The recent Retroist post about The Battle of Galactica ride at California Universal Studios reminded me about a ride that I visited as a child. The venue was the less glamorous Granada Studios Tour in Manchester, England but the ride was fantastic.
I don’t recall too much about the ride other than it was a few minutes of intense fun. It was definitely a highlight of the otherwise mundane tour of Britain’s oldest working production studios.
Sadly there doesn’t seem to be too much information on the internet about this ride, despite it appearing all over the world. There is however a great write-up over at The Robocop Archive.
