Sometimes I’m Jack the Riiiiiipper!

Ian Fleming's Welcome to My Nightmare

Ian Fleming’s Welcome to My Nightmare

Ever have one of those days when you just don’t feel like yourself, a day where you could be any one of a myriad of fictional characters or Victorian serial killers, or maybe a day where you just need to gather a bevy of bodacious babes in a garage and film a cut rate music video? For Vincent Dawn (and truth be told for the Ouija Board Kid as well) that’s a Tuesday…a Tuesday that thankfully directorial god Claudio Fragasso (whom you may remember from such cinematic fried gold as Zombi 3 and Troll 2) was there to document it all through the unflinching cyclopean eye of his camera, well that and the rest of the week where Vince turned into a slavering lycanthropic beast.

Daniel XIII: equally at home at a seance as he is behind the keyboard. Raised on a steady diet of Son of Satan comics, Kaiju flicks and Count Chocula comes the proprietor of The House of Thirteen Doors. What arcane knowledge lurks behind the preternatural eyes of the Ouija Board Kid?

  1. How on earth did Vincent Raven become Vincent Dawn? I must have had Bruno Mattei on the brain because I was writing about Claudio Fragasso…

This vid just blew my mind.
Never knew (or realized…or willfully forgot) the guillotine madman spawned different identities like this one.
Took a while to recognize him. As long as the video to end and see Alice’s more typical face pop up in YouTube follow-up links.

Great stuff too, here. The Italian maestro’s sensibilities are in full display (what? I enjoy his euro-treasures).

Great confluence of Things-That-Made-Me-A-Better-Person from the 80s.
Italian horror, Alice Cooper, music videos and buxom babes.

  3. If you like this video Atari Adventure Square , you need to see the rest of the movie it comes from! It’s called Monster Dog, and it contains much more Alice action…including his completely dubbed speaking voice!
