The Song Gets Stuck in My Ears

Kipp Hamilton

Hey creeps, your ol’ pal The Ouija Board Kid has been a bit silent this weekend due to some horror business that I had to attend to, but I’m back to ruin your Sunday! And, what better way to do that then with the off-key warbling of that flame haired temptress Kipp Hamilton from the Toho classic War of the Gargantuas! I think you’ll agree, the only way that a performance of this caliber could have ended was as it did; at the hands of an easily startled Frankenstein yeti.

Daniel XIII: equally at home at a seance as he is behind the keyboard! Raised on a steady diet of Son of Satan comics, Kaiju flicks and Count Chocula, ol' XIII is a screenwriter, actor, and reviewer of fright flicks! What arcane knowledge lurks behind the preternatural eyes of the Ouija Board Kid?

  1. There’s a recent Scooby Doo cartoon “movie” that opens with a complete recreation of that song scene from WAR OF THE GARGANUTAS. I don’t recall which and I just fruitlessly searched for it- possibly “ALOHA, SCOOBY DOO”- but I haven’t found the clip online. Or, perhaps, this as well as the song is just part of my insanity as well.

  2. @Atari Adventure Square Isn’t great how something that I’m sure the film makers thought was mundane ended up totally throwing normalcy off its axis?

@RetroArt I have to find that! Why on earth would they reference this of all things?!!

@CarlosTheDwarf C’mon, you know you want to!
