Friends, just wanted to give you the heads up that the latest Throwback Reviews Podcast is up for your listening pleasure! Sean was kind enough to invite me onto the show earlier this week where I joined the Retroist’s own Rob O’Hara as we sat and discussed the 1983-85 Dungeons and Dragons animated series that originally ran on CBS back on the Saturday mornings of our youth.

On the podcast we talk about our personal histories with the animated series as well as the role-playing products it was based on. We discuss which of the six magical items the kids are gifted that we would want for ourselves and the hot water a co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons got into for wearing a button concerning Uni. Rob also goes into detail on the many different releases the series has seen on DVD and the toy offerings…or lack of…that were made available to us fans of the show.

Sean and Rob were gracious hosts and I hope they’ll allow me the honor to return to the show, it was a blast and I think you will all enjoy it as well. Hop on over to the Throwback Reviews Podcast by following the link up top and make sure to visit their Facebook Page and give them a like…or face the wrath of Tiamat!

  1. I can’t wait to hear the Real Genius podcast, Sjgeek89! One of my favorite movies…and one of the many films of my youth that made me think that college was going to be the greatest place on Earth. ;)
