First Fruite Brute TV Commercial From 1975 Is Fantastic!

Now everyone probably heard the entire world yesterday take a deep breath and release it at the same time in joyous cries when the Retroist posted about General Mills once again releasing Fruity Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute to store shelves this Fall.

After the initial glow of the announcement died down a little I realized I didn’t actually know what kind of personality Fruite Brute possessed. Thanks to Count Choculatee’s YouTube Channel we can see for ourselves!

He’s kind of intimidating don’t you think?

I thought Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy cereals were one and the same with Mummy replacing Brute some years later but it still never took like Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry did. If I see them, I’ll try them Hell, I saw Quisp in a supermarket a few years back and yelled “THE HELL? Is it 1975???” Then I learned I could buy it on Amazon. :)
