Toy Base 10’s Star Wars Toys

Recently I found a local toy store called Toy Base 10. The store has been around for years and moved to a new location a few years ago. I visited the new location last week and was amazed to see all the great things they had for sale. 3,700 square foot of vintage toys needs to be seen in person to truly be appreciated.

Toy Base 10 has GI Joe, Transformers, Star Trek, Dr. Who, and a zillion other toys available for sale, but what I was interested in were the Star Wars toys, and the place did not disappoint.

This was one of the first displays I ran across. Seeing these toys in the box brought back a flood of memories.

In another area, behind glass, sat this playset.

I did not ask if this playset contained a blue or red Snaggletooth. In my mind, it was the blue one.

At the end of the day I left with a few non-Star Wars related items, and this.

My son described it as “in mint condition,” which tells me (among other things) he has no idea what “mint condition” means. The box is a little beaten up and its contents are loose, but it was in my price range and looks great on the shelf directly above my computer monitor for the time being.
