Though the ending of Soylent Green might possibly be known by every person in the world thanks to popular culture, the fact of the matter is that it still is a movie that stands on its own merits. I at least enjoy it more than even Charlton Heston’s Omega Man, the second film adaptation of the absolute classic novel of the late great Richard Matheson, ‘I Am Legend’.
Thanks to the wonderful Turner Classic Movies website we can now watch the original movie promo from back in 1973.
A big thanks as always to IMP Awards for the awesome theatrical poster you see up top.
