According to the news in 1991, parents were so upset about the cost of video games and their kid’s addiction, that they were joining support group. The news people can only speculate at to what effect the new SNES was going to have on the family unit. The best parts of this video is the brief mention of Sega and the well-intentioned Mother (pictured above) who thinks she is going to reason with her child and explain the power of marketing.
