I originally saw the classic John Carpenter film “Escape From New York” at the 62 Drive-In back in my youth, even at 9 years old I could count myself a John Carpenter fan thanks to seeing the Fog the year before at the same drive-in. My Father and I were not prepared however for the sheer awesomeness of what Kurt Russell would bring to that role…and of course to the roles of Jack Burton and R.J. MacReady in the following years.
So even though this Iron-On patch doesn’t say Snake Plissken on it, I would be proud to wear a Kurt Russell Iron-On transfer this very day if I could get my hands on it! A big thanks to the NEO-PUNK-DISORDERLY Tumblr for sharing the image.
