Japanese School Children using a Computer (1984)

This photo comes from the 1984 book, “Microcomputers at Work” by Jim Hargrove. I recently spent some time with kids who do not get a lot of computer time and their reaction was just like the kids in this photo. If memory serves me right, this was exactly how kids reacted when I was young as well. It is nice to see that somethings do not change and that maybe they are international.

  1. Exactly Retroist. Some of us would light up when we saw a computer. The difference is I would have been trying to keep everyone off the keyboard.
