Morgan Freeman Can even Sell Horrible Tasting Listerine

Even back in 1973 people had sense enough to hire Morgan Freeman to sell their products. Their is just something about the man’s voice that make you want to believe what he is saying. Knowing this, the ad people selling Listerine just had him ramble on about how horrible it tastes knowing in the end you would still buy it. They even tried to make the commercial ludicrous by having this discussion about mouth wash on top of a telephone pole, that’s how confident they were in his ability to sell.

HilARIOUS! is all I have to say. I was watching an episode of Toy Hunter on Travel channel and they showed a snippet of a commercial with Dennis Haysbert promoting a new electronic handheld basketball game by Mattel. Found it on YouTube . Forgive me if you already wrote about this.

So I guess angels are now a silent salesmen for Listerine. That’s the only way I can see an POV shot swooping up to the top of a telephone pole to hand a bottle of the stuff to Mr. Freeman.
