In the Milwaukee Area in the Summer of 1981? Enter a Free Space Invaders Contest

If I lived in Milwaukee back in 1981, Sight and Sound would have been one of my favorite stores and I would have BEGGED my Mom or Sisters to take me down there. I wonder who won? I wonder if their was a hard sell when you entered the contest? I bet the prize was a white satin jacket with the words winner stitched on the back with purple thread.

  1. What is kinda interesting about the ad is the address – 316 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. That address became part of Grand Avenue Mall in 1982. So – wonder if the store was a building that became part of the mall, or if it was tore down shortly after opening. My guess is that it became part of the mall.

Can see the location on google maps.

This has a write-up on the mall: http://www.deadmalls.com/malls/grand_avenue_mall.html
