Colorforms Video Game Rub n’ Plays

I received one of these as a gift from my cousin one year. It was the Donkey Kong one and I used it to decorate one of my book covers. Needless to say, I had the coolest book cover in the whole school. Well at least I thought so, but the majority of my schoolmates were strangely silent on the subject. I tried to get more of them, trolling the local Five & Ten weekly hoping they would show up there. Sadly the DK textbook was a one of a kind masterpiece. It is long gone now, but the memory lives on!

  1. Definitely one of my favorite products from Colorforms that weren’t Colorforms playsets, etc. I had Frogger, Donkey Kong, and Zaxxon…never got my hands on the Robotron 2084 transfers though.

  2. Chris X says:

this is stirring memories, I feel like I had the Donkey Kong ones, but can’t be certain. I think I also had similar Star Wars ones.
