Escape from Iran: The True Story Behind Argo on PBS in 1981

If you enjoyed the movie Argo, you will probably enjoy this PBS documentary from the 1980s that tells the story from the point of view of the actual people who lived through the crisis. I found it very interesting from a history perspective, but I especially enjoyed seeing the people in real life and then going to the IMDB and comparing them to the actors who portrayed them.

Oh and their is a nice little history capsule bonus treat at the start of the video for Waldbaums.

What a fascinating find! I loved Argo and was very intrigued by the real story behind it. The resemblances between the actual people and the actors portraying them are remarkable!
