Remember the Song “I’m the Baby (Gotta Love Me)” from Dinosaurs?

In the third episode of Dinosaurs the talented people behind the show changed things up and added a music video of the Baby from the show singing his own praises. It was a great marketing idea (maybe influenced by the Simpsons), that would haunt me during my nights working at the video store. One of my co-workers LOVED Dinosaurs and would play the tape with this video on it at least once a day. The song is still burned into my brain.

  1. Mike says:

I enjoyed the show but agree the song was 100% annoying. I hated returning to school on Mondays in the 3rd grade because there was this kid who would sing this song at least 10 times a day.

  2. I fondly remember the show & the “not the mama” and “I’m the baby, gotta love me” catchphrases, but I don’t remember that song.

  3. I only realized that Clash did the voice for the Baby 2 years ago while re-watching it. I thought, you know, this Baby sounds a lot like Elmo.
