Full On YouTube – Tales From The Darkside

Did you know you can see some of the best movies from our childhoods on YouTube in their entirety? They are

I was always a much bigger fan of the Tales from the Darkside TV show than I was the movie. The TV opening alone is one of the most fantastic and terrifying things I ever experienced as a young boy watching Columbus, Ohio UHF channels alone in the dark. While the movie may not reach those heights, it does have Deborah Harry and Rae Dawn Chong, so it is a least worth a look. I honestly can’t remember any of the stories in it (only three? That’s kind of weak for an anthology movie), but I do remember the ending of the framing story and, well, let’s just say you’ll never listen to Blondie in the same way again.

  1. Great choice, Doug! Tales From The Darkside: The Movie started out as being Creepshow 3 by the way, hence the Cat From Hell story included in the film by Stephen King. I believe they decided to use the popularity of the Tales From the Darkside series to ‘cash in’ on the name brand…but don’t quote me on that.

  2. Wish it had been Creepshow 3. Then the current Creepshow 3 wouldn’t be. Or, at least wouldn’t be Creepshow 3.
