With the upcoming re-release of Jurassic Park just a few short weeks away it seems the perfect time to share this vintage behind the scenes video of the creation of the Dilophosaurus. Thanks to the Stan Winston School official YouTube channel, Rick Galinson, the Live-action full-size dinosaur effects mechanic for the film will give you an almost 8 minute tour of what it took to bring the cute…then suddenly incredibly terrifying dinosaur to life on the big screen.
Make sure to check out the Stan Winston School blog by following the link provided up top, it’s got some very interesting background artwork on all manner of projects.
