Yow! A Go-ril-lil-la!! The Great Grape Ape!

“What a sight to see him jogging block after block, things begin to shake and quake and rattle and rock!”

Grape Ape originally started out as part of Hanna Barbera’s Tom & Jerry show in 1975. He later got his own show, and featured on the Laff-A-Lympics series. My first experience with him was on reruns of the Laff-A-Lympics show on saturday mornings, though my main experience was via the Grape Ape Show on USA Network’s Cartoon Express back in the 80s. Originally I loved his show, but after a while I started disliking it & changing the channel whenever it came on. These days I’m pretty lukewarm about it. It’s definitely a show everyone needs to watch at least one episode of.
