Turn-of-the Century Pigeon Camera

Invented by Dr. Julius Neubronner in 1908, these tiny cameras were mounted on the bodies of homing pigeons and activated by timer. They seem to have been just a novelty to sell early aerial photos, but I think they’d be perfect for all your steampunk espionage needs!

    Hey wait a moment. There are three pigeons in that photo. Were these the Goodfeathers in a forgotten episode of Animaniacs? With those cameras, I can only imagine the hijinks those wacky Italian birds could get into.
