Saturday Frights: Tales From The Darkside “Inside The Closet” (1984)

Saturday Frights - Sean Hartter
Welcome back to another episode of Saturday Frights! Tonight we have the Tom Savini Tales From The Crypt helmed episode entitled “Inside The Closet”. A spooky episode featuring the acting talents of Fritz Weaver (Twilight Zone, Creepshow) and Roberta Weiss (The Dead Zone).

The story involved a young college girl named Gail Aynsley (Weiss), who rents a room from Dr. Fenner (Weaver) a Dean for a veterinarian school. The last eligible room in town if we are to believe Dr. Fenner but the room does have a few problems. That scurrying sound that Gail hears coming from the oddly sized closet in the room…what could it be…rats maybe?

Turn the lights off and grab your favorite beverage and snack as you join us for another Saturday Frights and Tales From the Darkside to learn what is “Inside the Closet”.

As always I want to give a big thank you to the talented Sean Hartter for the artwork you see up top.

  1. I hear you, friend. My brother-in-law couldn’t help but show me the tiny door that led to their attic when moving into a new house…you had to bend over to get through it. The only way it could have been scarier is if he would have opened the door and it had been filled with China Dolls. Brrrrr.
