As a kid we still had a lot old lights from the 1960s laying around. We would put them on the tree well into the 1980s and in retrospect this might not have been great because they were HOT. It was a revelation when we finally got cool lights xmas in the late 1980s. No more worrying about burning down the house or scalding yourself when reaching for a candy cane. It was a Christmas miracle! Thanks GE!
Is it me or does the kid in this ad look a bit…unbalanced?
