Carter’s Ink Company was a manufacturer of ink and related products, in Boston and later Cambridge, Massachusetts and according to their literature they were once the largest ink manufacturer in the world. The Carter name is still used by the company Avery-Dennison on some of its ink-related products such as stamp pads, but it will always live on in classic comic book ads.
