Mighty Max was Mighty Good

Mighty Max was a 1993/1994 animated series. It was one those rare cartoons series that was able to merge action, sci-fi, and horror together effectively. The show, like most cartoons was created to promote the aptly named Mighty Max toys, which was an offshoot of Blue Bird Toy’s Polly Pocket lineup.

Max ran for two seasons, with a total of 40 episodes. It starred the voice talents of Rob Paulsen as Max, Richard Moll as Norman, Tony Jay as Virgil, and Tim Curry as Skullmaster.

The show’s intro was screechy memorable…

If you have a VCR you can still watch some Mighty Max magic by picking up Mighty Max: The Skullmaster Trilogy.
