This K-Earth 101 Commercial from 1985 is Magical

KRTH or K-Earth 101 is a radio station originating in Los Angeles, California. Its signal is broadcast from atop Mt. Wilson and because of this the station can some reach pretty far away. The station can trace its roots back to the 1940s, but in 1985, when this commercial was broadcast, they where entering Golden Oldies programming phase. This explains the retro feel to the commercial. Even while the visuals are pure 1980s gold.

  1. Atari Adventure Square says:

One can only hope these visual designs come back in style.
I’d watch an all-retro-neon network all day and night.

57 channels and this ain’t on.
