This ad for Post 40% Bran Flakes features a pre-Dragnet and MASH Harry Morgan while he was on a TV show called “Pete & Gladys” which was a spin-off of a late 1950’s sitcom named “December Bride” (neither of which I have seen). I remember seeing Kellogg’s 40% Bran Flakes as a kid, but do not remember a Post brand. Apparently though, they both were around for a long time. I am not sure, but I assume the 40% comes from the daily allowance of fiber in a serving? If so, I like the honesty and transparency in naming and think it should apply to all food and what they promise to deliver.
Insert your own clever punchline here.
