Zingers for Halloween

I received a lot of odd things in my Halloween bags over the years, but never a Zinger. Wouldn’t they get smooshed?

I do remember getting some Dolly Madison KooKoo’s for trick or treat. They didn’t last long enough to get smooshed. Get in my belly, KooKoo’s!

  2. I might have been happy to receive a Zinger in my trick or treat bag…but I agree with you Flack, it would have just been smooshed.

@mwentworth I do not recall KooKoo’s, my friend.

  3. You know what the difference is between a Zinger and a smashed Zinger is to my taste buds? Nothing. Maybe there is to my fingers, but not my mouth!

It woulda been great to get these cakey treats once in a while, smushed or shapely.
Usually, it was hard candy this, hard candy that.
Gum pieces were always welcome, but those small chip bags were a darkgodsend, cuz all that sweetness went along great with salty crunch things.

Seeing those Zingers make one appreciate variety in the bag o’ treats.
    Word to the wise candy-givers!
