Scott Holden’s Tauntaun Costume

A couple of years ago, Scott Holden made, in my opinion, one of the greatest Halloween costumes of all time. It required clay sculpting, welding, sewing, air brushing, and a ton of time and effort, but you cannot deny the results. If I owned this costume I would wear it to work every single day.

Here is a link to Scott’s step-by-step documentation on how he built the costume from start to finish, with pictures every step of the way. Very inspirational for anyone who enjoys making their own costumes.

  1. What’s awesome is that he built up the legs so he is taller than he should, making it look like the legs can’t be his, even though they are.
