During the Halloween season, one of the best movies you can treat yourself to is John Carpenter’s original Halloween. To celebrate this cinema classic, a limited engagement of the film along with the Halloween mini-documentary You Can’t Kill the Boogeyman: 35 Years of Halloween will be hitting theaters beginning October 25th with select showings through October 31st. It is only in select theaters, but the number of theaters is pretty decent and they will continue adding new ones for the next week or so. So pop on over to the Halloween movie Event Page at Screenvision and scroll down to see if your local theater will be showing it. The site says they will be adding theater up until the 28th of September, so bookmark and check back if you don’t see something local enough.
This looks likes a pretty serious release and new details about it are being posted at Halloween Movies every day. My favorite detail? The new poster by Austin Hinderliter that they will be taking pre-orders for soon.
Oh and from what I hear, look for Halloween trailers to show up in theaters at the end of the month. This is going to be magical!
