Kickstarter Project Underway for Jonny Quest in Stop-Motion Animation

About a year ago I post regarding the opening credits to Jonny Quest being done in stop-motion animation. The labor of love by Roger Evans received so much positive feedback that it inspired him to take the next step and recreate an entire episode of the adventure series using the same technique.

Through Kickstarter, Evans needs $65,000 pledged by Sept. 26 to make this ultimate tribute. While 2D animation is on life support, stop-motion animation still has some legs. We see stop-motion films more in theaters than we do 2D animation these days. It’s great seeing Evans use his talents to bring Jonny Quest back into the spotlight. If he can get this episode made and it generates some buzz maybe we can get an all new series done in this style.
