SilverHawks Toy Commercials (1986)

While I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of the SilverHawks toys and animated series, I still think they are a neat idea. Watching these two commercials posted below makes me miss the days of the awesome toy advertisements we had back in the 80s, you know what I mean, when they had very complicated sets built out of household objects.

  1. I recall begging my mom to buy cherries just so I could have Tally-Hawk drop them on my other action figures. Loved the toys but could give a **** about the cartoon.

  2. I understand, Eamon! Tally-Hawk needs his weapons!

Buzz-Saw reminds me of a “lost” Micronauts figure. I’ll have to keep my eye out for some of these guys at the Flea Markets in my neck of the woods.

This is a franchise I’ve only heard of. I’ve never seen the cartoon or really researched the toys. The commercials are well done though.

They just don’t make things like this anymore. True Cartoons back then were 22min toy commercials themselves but atleast it was stuff on the show.
