Invasion Of The Body Snatchers Fotonovel (1979)

Ever since Doug’s post about the Plant People Fotonovel I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for Fotonovels in my neck of the woods. Last week my search bore fruit as I found this Invasion of the Body Snatchers book at my local used book store…for a single dollar.

It is awesome and I certainly see why they had popularity back in the day…because…who doesn’t want to stare at this most frightening scene in the film for hours and hours?

  1. Atari Adventure Square says:

    Nice!
I was genuinely spooked by the movie (and its creepy sound design) but this Fotonovel (which I still have…buried somewhere in the briar patch) brought the creepers right back under my skin.

I then flipped through my Grease Fotonovel to calm me down.

    Never bold enough to sing-a-long.
Nor bold enough to stare at that banjo-dog pic for more than a few seconds.

    brrrrrr!
